What ink can I use to refill a pentel brush pen. I tried "rotring isograph technical drawin ink" but it is too thick, there is nearly no inkflow.

You have some water resistant fountain pen options. If I remember well the one I use in a rotring art pen with some watercolor comes from the vrand Noodles Ink. Bought it for cheap in a big bottle. It's called polar black.

Completely wrong answer. India ink will clog the fuck out of everything and is only usable with dip pens. Not to mention the whole point of the pentel is that it's disposable. Not sure if the waterbrushes take to india ink, but I know kuretake has a refillable brush pen. Besides, the ink the pentel uses is completely different than india and is some space age shit.

Alternatively, Bombay india ink is supposed to be both waterproof and non clogging

Most fountain pen inks will work. If you want to gamble you could try any ink that says non-clogging free flowing.

Pocket brush pens are meant to be refillable. They sell cartridges for both pen types.

I refill mine with rapidograph ultradraw, doesn't clog even if i don't use the pen for a few weeks and is waterproof with what seems like a slightly longer drying time than pentel's formulation. ironically it's waaay too thin for my fountain pen and just makes a mess.

I have the same brush pen and I refill with India, works fine OP. Also Noodlers ink is one of my favorites as well, I only use that in my fountain pen though, haven't tried in a brush pen.
