I actively reference other artists' design language,combing two or more then toss in a little of my own direction,is this frown upon in the industry?If so,how would I be able to develop my own design sense(not sure if this is the right word for it?) Developing visual library from real life?I do reference from real life time to time but the result is usually not as good as the former method.
