Arrive a few minutes early so you can get a seat with a good view. Try to walk around and maybe talk with some people during the breaks (if the person who runs the session is there then they are usually good to talk to). Probably best to not mention 4chan.
Usually these sessions have poses ranging from 1 or 2 minutes to about 20 or 30. Depends on the place. Don't be surprised if there are a handful of shorter poses. And don't be surprised if there is shitty lighting (depends on the place a lot).
There's not much to these sessions. Just go and have some fun and try to get a decent drawing or two at the end of it.
Most places provide easels btw, see if they actually have any. It means in the future you can bring large newsprint sheets clipped to a masonite board and then use charcoal/conte/chalk/whatever.
