My friend and I got Clip Studio Paint when it was on sale for like 18 SGD or something (probably about 22 USD).

Not gonna say I know what I'm doing with digital art, but it seems to have the fundamental brush stuff you'd expect from photoshop, and more vector options geared towards lineart and inking. It has some 3d poser thing in it, but that lags up the whole thing so I never actually use it. There's probably more features in it I don't know about.

Photoshop > all in terms of versatility, it has everything. However, photoshop was made more with image manipulation in mind. I used sai for months before photoshop and I'd say i like sai better for painting. Clip studio was made for painting and has more functionality than sai. Overall photoshop works best for me, but i might change to clip studio because it's supposedly lighter

I tried to look up photoshop reviews for drawing-related experiences, not very good however, if the clip studio does not work out for me, then I will give it a try. I'm pretty much like to try everything out to find the right stuff for me
