The face and proportions are good, but the lines are a bit shaky, you should be more confident in your lines. When you draw something completely from the front it can also make the person appear flat, you should ideally have form to show perspective. An easier way to do this is by building up the figure first in works before you apply lines.
You should try to draw the hair in forms, since drawing each hair as a stroke often makes it appear too ruffled.
The shading isn't very well defined, and the single brush strokes makes it look like she's been beaten.
I would probably not recommend using Kanji unless the character is Japanese, it can be seen as cliché or pretentious.
The guts are well stylized as being too realistic can just get too gross.
