So I thought that if I could do exaggerated faces, I can improve drawing faces in general. What does /ic/ think? A lot of my inspiration draws from One Piece, where there's lots of exaggerated faces going on about.

It would be better to see someone draw inspiration from fucking rocks. Just actual rocks would be better and more varied in quality and character than Fag Piece.

I respect your opinion but I love One Piece's art style because it doesn't look like any other manga out there. It's (somewhat) recognizable from your average manga.

Learn how to construct heads as 3D objects. These all look flat and lack understanding of form. Even if you're heavily stylizing it still pays to know these things. Would you believe that there's this guy called LOOMIS who teaches you a really neat way to do it? I think the book is called FUN WITH A PENCIL. There are links to it for free in the STICKY.
