But the US still assmilated their European immigrants fairly well, as is evident from how mixed they all are. Most are part German, English, irish, French, Italian etc. People have a civic American identity much more so than the ethnocentricism you find in Europe.
I'm not going to say they're better or worse than Brazil, but there's a reason why they're held up as an example of a melting pot.

No, there's not much wrong with NZ, just my city doesn't have as many opportunities at the moment. When I come back to New Zealand I'll probably live in Auckland, but for a few years I want to get a better taste for the world.
