The Arabic script got cucked so hard historically. Turkey used to use it, but they switched to the Latin script. Plenty of sub Saharan African languages used it (Hausa, Swahili, etc) but they switched to the Latin script because of colonialism. Central Asia used to use the Arabic script, but they switched to the Cyrillic script because of the USSR. Native Americans in the Caribbean used the Arabic script after Muslims from Africa got there before Columbus, but they got killed off and it obviously isn't used anymore.
