I see things every year that would create massive riots in my country being unpunished by passive americans.
Most of the big firms are compulsive liars, here's a few examples:
1°)
>Government create a law to cancel a previous enviromental law and now oil fractionning can happen near homes despise previous laws because they make massive money out of it
>Ppl can set their water on fire

>Their ansew: hur durr we didn't du nufin wrong that cannot be us despise the fact that empirical evidences show it's us

>Oil accident on the coast
>BP tells thats not too bad and it can be cleaned
>The difference between what they told and reality is 70 million gallons of oil deep in this case
3°) The 3rd one is a comparison to let you see what is decency and why your lobby fail at having one
>Multiple International Agencies shows that red meat can be potentially cancerous and transformed meat is for sure cancerous because of the added products
>France: Red Meat lobby tells: "We cannot go against science but we know for sure that a diet made of moderated amounts of red meat and vegetables is healthy, but you must not overdo on meat".
>USA: Red Meat lobby tells: "It's all lies, it goes against common sense and we clearly see that the 800 studies are false and numbers have been manipulated by evil health agencies to kill the red meat industry." Despise the fact that EVERY STUDY look at uncertainty principle and publish the results only if it's significant

So, americans how can you cope with that ? I personaly think this is because of Ayn Rand and unpunished egoist she spreaded.
