Sounds a little bit short-sighted to not want being part of EU only because of rumors. You could've just took your time to define your refugee policy and wait for Germany to collaps on it's own weight (meaning too many refugees to handle). It would save your image in EU and, at the same time, give you reasone to deny access to them alltogether.
Or you could just take in a few refugges from balkan states (who are marginally better than sandniggers), those who are being refused asylum in said Germany, and be even better off by not excluding those in need.
Anyway, good for you to finally being able to stand for yourself.
