Why are the American reality shows always filled with all sorts of bullshit just to make it more dramatic? I mean, in undercover boss for example always one out of the like three persons is either dying of cancer or has a family member dying horribly/has a mentally retarded kid/is just generally living a fucked up life. Is created drama really something everyone in the US wishes to see, when there is a CEO of a multibillion dollar company on the spotlight in a show that has pretty interesting premise?? Wouldn't it be a lot more interesting if there wouldn't be any faking and the places the boss visits would be random in the sense that they wouldn't be picked only because one of the employees is nice but has a fucked up life? Could natural and realistic reality shows even make it in the US?
