Where is the Chinese media to consume? I understand the cultural revolution and extreme government censorship has been keeping a lot of things down but surely there must be something? Looking at statistics, which aren't ever entirely accurate, China seems to have a tremendous deficit in media and entertainment compared to Japan. And from what I've seen the country has extremely thriving bootlegging scenes for everything from videogames to music to movies.

Is it simply not translated or distributed outside of China?
