Fucking good. They could have gotten citizenship but the fact is they're foreign nationals who are criminals. New Zealand needs to take responsibility for its own citizens. Even if literally 10% of their citizens live over here because no jobs in kiwiland.

I've been told that it is harder for Kiwis to get Aussie citizenship than most other countries. I dunno If that is true though.

It's not really true but probably seems that way to most kiwis. The special visa you're issued on arrival here is temporary and doesn't offer a path to citizenship.

The requirement is to live here at least five years with at least one of them as a permanent resident. That means even a kiwi needs a permanent visa like a work visa or a partner visa if they're shacked up with a citizen.

Rules out the shitkickers flocking here for the higher minimum wage but there's probably a lot who'd be able to get either of those if they could be bothered sorting out the mountains of paperwork involved.
