For a while I have been wondering something, I live in the US and seems to me that in the UK there is a much wider divide among the classes. Sure our rich are a bit clueless about the daily lives of us middle and lower class citizens (inb4 some in denial /pol/ dork says that there are no classes in the US) but it doesn't seem to hold a candle to the birts. It seems to me that in england the upper middle class and upper class are so ignorant that they think that since they can afford x thing EVERYONE should be able to and look down at people that can not afford what they can as if they are just lazy or bad at budgeting their money. I'm not really trying to start a fight or anything, I'm just wondering what is it about british culture that causes such a divide where the a group of people can be so removed from the rest of society.
