Then a couple months later I found out to my surprise that my uncle used to have one and sold it for nearly 80 grand, and when I saw pictures it looked much like the big cosy ones I see around my way. The thing is you can get a very decent flat for 80 grand in the North, or even one of those pre-fab houses they built after the war, so it made me wonder. I reckon a medium size canal boat for a good price might still be worth it though. You can go where you want and some of the canal network in this country away from the major cities would be a great place to travel and live. I still have this thing about emptying my own shit and piss though, the same reason I never go caravanning.
