>China trying hard to destroy global freedom of navigation laws that would severely effect planet wide commerce

>building artificial islands and randomly calling the natural resources around them as Chinese territory

>threatening annexation of sovereign territory of neighboring countries

>the only country doing anything to stop them is the US

Why?

I understand why most countries aren't doing anything. They don't have the resources for it. I wouldn't expect El Salvador or Iceland to start enforcing international law.

I also understand why most limp wristed eurocuck countries don't do anything. Russia annexed territory of a fellow European nation a year ago and they all looked the other way. So I don't expect them to go anywhere near Asia to challenge a power even stronger than Russia.

But even world powers that are right next to China look the other way.

India, Japan, Australia, just do nothing about a problem right on their doorstep ffs.

Should the US start officially demanding tribute from countries that refuse to help keep the laws of the world like the Romans did?
