>>50030415On the the props its pretty historically accurate.
The practical effects were nicely done, and the CGI was B-Movie tier but obviously better compared to others in local cinema. Some of the guns looked too polished and if you look real closely the CGI becomes obviously CGIish
Story is pretty solid enough, not too deep but its okay.
In broad strokes its pretty accurate to what was written by historians when it comes to historical people, but it mixes up elements of the battles a bit
The opening sequence felt a bit rushed trying to keep the audience up to speed about the beginnings of the Phil-Am war.
The execution of the battles was fucking great, tickled my inner /k/
The middle up to just before the climax was smoothly done.
My only gripe there was the scene between Luna and his lover, and then the flashback where Rizal was kinda shoehorned in.
The death scene was pretty brutal too, just dont focus too much on the gun effects.
All in all I give it 8/10, and thats me being objective.
>>50030552Col. Paco Roman got killed,Capt. Rusca surrendered and lived the rest of his life in self-loathing for being a pussy, The Bernal brothers were killed and tortured.
From what I've heard from some sources that Jerrold Tarog plans on putting a scene where Del Pilar tortures one of the Bernal brothers pretty early in the next film.
>modern Tagalog they were usingWhat modern tagalog? they were speaking old ass archaic shit
>its very strong anti-American tonesI laughed when some commie bitch's post showed up on my feed which used the film as an reason to hate the americans more, despite the fact that the film's message that we're all fault for fucking ourselves up
