I hear this often from different people of different nationalities visiting the country. Is it true? I can't imagine a city that actually smells, and I have been to many big citties

the metro certainly does, other than that depends where you are.
Paris is all about contrast between dirtiness at street level and beauty as you look up

The city doesn't smell like much of anything, but the metro reeks of body odor and piss. It's pretty awful.

No big city smells like a fresh morning in the cunt-side.
But i say paris smells like piss a lot. Its not only the metro but several corners.
Whats pretty cool about paris is the fact that in the banlieus they dont remove the trash or burned cars and so on.
Its like in a warzone. Even the amount of niggers fits it :^)
But around the corners with the mass tourism attractions it smells like in a fucking asian shithole because of all this asian tourist scum.
I hate asian tourists so much..

It's not as bad as before (a year ago or summer). Tonight, it smelled like piss only near "2 Quai de la Tournelle" in a 3 km length in the docks. Less tourists, less smell.

Blame the lack of toilets or the street's cleaning, For some reason, even though the streets are cleaned, there are some spots where they don't clean, and it smells. I was still surprised in a good way because it's way better than before, and there were some toilets still working near midnight.
I'm off, now. Need to process all that good wine.

But you can almost disregard Burger King since they're rare as fuck like 15 in the whole country and most of them in Paris

Piss smells very bad when alot of people piss in the same area.

Theres a park in central stockholm city that I used to run by while jogging, the stench was unbearable.

And did not try it.
Best fastfood has been from wendys in boston though..

Most big cities smell like piss/shit. Worst I have experienced: Chicago, Los Angeles, Venice (probably the worst one tbh), Barcelona.
Generally pleasant smelling cities: Seattle, London, Copenhagen.
