Why people here tend to cling to statistics or numbers to prove how miserable their life is? If numbers and statistics make life so bad, how come most people in third world shitholes haven't killed themselves? How come these people actually make friendships, human contacts, form a family, fight for survival and actually live their lives not giving a fuck to those problems that most people here make a turmoil of?

Their ignorance. Those people can't see the misery on things, mostly because we sell happiness on TV/radio all day long. They were trained since they were born to: go to college, find job, form family, die; and their ignorance is so big that for them, this is the higher you can get in life.

And even if your problems are so big, that they can't handle, you will always find that "Don't give up!" propaganda wherever you go.

Well maybe it's because they don't really need much to be happy, tbh what I've seen visiting there is that most people are happy with their friends and family no matter the problems. I mean I got stuck in a 1 hour traffic jam in Tijuca, and the people that were in the same van with me didn't give one fuck about it and actually spent the whole time talking about shit, or at least that was what it looked like lol

tbh, living without any problems is literally living a life without anything to do, happiness come from the experience of living, and experiencing problems are a great part of that, because they give you the drive to do something. Most people here in Norway just spend their whole life away doing the same thing over and over again, because it's already solved, and that is how is done. I think your culture or maybe latin culture is the most humane culture of the world because of that aspect, because you guys praise the "feeling well" aspect over the rest, so if people are feeling nice with other people feeling nice too, there is nothing that can stop them, I mean I think this whole "HUEHUEHUE" thing that exists in Brazil is literally a derivative of this. I mean sure crime is bad, somethings should be solved, but I really don't think that "Solving problems" should be the main drive of your country as problems some day end, but having people with you for the rest of your life enjoying themselves together even if it means creating problems for the society is the sure way to happiness tbh, because humans are literally an infinite inside themselves, and even if you spent a whole life with another person, everyday is a new day, meanwhile when a problem is solved, there is nothing else to do
