That is because your point was that their accomplishments are due to their large population, but that is simply untrue as Chinese immigrnats do well even in small numbers. My point wasnt about the performance of immigrants vs. natives rather than proving that the size of the population isnt important.

China owns 13% of out national debt. That's the most of any nation. Doesn't mean they are going to dump our bonds just to screw their biggest trading partner over.

They are currently selling a lot of it at a moderate pace to make up for their interest rate cuts.

To be honest, they shoulf take away the whole policy but the family planning bureaucracy is strong. They'll likely take it completely away come 2020.
