Get with the times, grandpa.

But I'd say it's the caste system, lower levels of average intelligence, lower literacy levels, emphasis on specialized skillsets vs. manufacturing, inefficient democracy vs. totalitarian government, etc.

China still has a long way to go as well, though. Let's be honest here, comparing yourself to India is just dumb. China is looking forward and trying to compete with the USA.
