Officially 3 mln people escaped from here as if we were in state of war, unofficially - 2x more, so we probably lost 15% of population after becoming a member of EU - surely because of "prosperity" and "growing wealth". In result we have probably the oldest society in Europe currently. Most people that i see on streets - especially in suburbs - are dehumanized smelly bums and retired old-fucks that look like zombies
Most of economy is in hands of foreign capital. There is very hard to name even one high tech/high revenue company that has a Polish owner. Poles were reduced to cheap labour force in them.
Colonial form of economy enables Western companies and banks to transfer huge sums of money from here. Every year around 30 bln euro is transfered from Polish colony to rich Western countries - for comparison: we are receiving only 4 bln euro netto from EU funds annually, so we lose every year around 26 bln euro
Work stopped being a guarantee of setting yourself free from poverty. There is shitloads of Polish slaves who work 12 hours / day, but can't afford new clothes once a year and must save money practically on everything, because salaries here are barely enough to survive for most population
Around 70% of school-youth considers moving out from here
