>>50060085I went to private school and we didn't have separate classes based on ability aside from maths (retard level, easy level, hard level, very hard - which was an elective on top of hard), and there was also a small separate English class for the really mentally challenged (Which honestly was more relevant and practical as a class than the standard English class, they learnt about writing resume's and cover letters while we were fucking analysing poetry)
But kids who weren't interested in Uni usually took 1 less elective class, and the school organised their timetable in such a way that they only came to school 4 days a week, and on that 5th day they did work place experience in a Trade or field of work they were interested in, and then after school they were given an apprenticeship or job in those fields.
I'm fairly sure they do the same thing in Public Schools.
