Why is Stalin so popular in Russia?

>Destroyed the Revolution and basically implemented a "red Tsardom"
>Killed/exiled all intellectuals in the country causing huge amount of brain drain
>Killed all the Communists/Bolsheviks/Mensheviks
>Extreme conservative, destroyed the Soviet Avant Garde which was culturally influential globally and still influences design today for shitty "socialist realism". Banned gay rights after Lenin gave them, ripped away womans rights after Lenin gave them, banned abortion, returned the orthodox church.
>Collectivized agricultural production, but because he had killed/exiled all intellectuals who could y'know improve production, he promoted pseudo-science/pseudo-intellectuals like Trofim Lysenko who fucked the entire agriculture sector
>Basically fucked up the entire start of WW2 when the USSR had the advantage of manpower and supplies at the start.

Stalin was basically incompetent and basically destroyed Socialism from even having a chance. Why do Russians love him again?
