What kind of alcoholic drinks are popular in your country?

I'm especially interested in bar drinks.

Ireland: watery lager, watery stout, red ale, whiskey. Mixed drinks are more of a city thing.

How we drink: we drink a week's worth on friday or saturday evening, then very little during the next week. Heart attacks and liver failures galore.
