Only car ever made in my Province, New Brunswick , the Bricklin SV-1
Was only made for 2 years between 1974-1976, designed to be an ultra-safe (SV stands for safety vehicle), affordable sports car, the weight of the safety features made it impractical as a high performance sports car, and also greatly increased the cost.
Some if the "safety features" were also just annoying, like no cigarette lighter or ashtray (a terrible idea in the 70s) believing that smoking distracted a driver, it also inly came in 4 or 5 "safety colours" to increase visibility, all of which were bright or garish.
Notable only for its gull wing doors, it is still the only production vehicle ever with automatic push button gull wings as a standard feature.
There are only a handful left in existence, only one I have ever seen is at the New Brunswick museum.
