In 2003 there was this far-right (far kosher-right, not like Euro far-right) group that made a website called PABAAH (Patriotic Americans Boycotting Anti-American Hollywood) because of all the celebs that were coming out as anti-war and such I guess
It wasn't a big place but it was full on bloodlust for the Iraq war and I was mostly just doing some cheeky trolling with other people from a gaming forum (Heavengames) I went to that posted the link to it. One of them had enough and demanded I post my address so a member could "deal with me in person". I got banned a while later when the mod/admin sent a notice asked something like "Do you believe in the mission of liberty and liberation or are you an enemy of America? Respond to this carefully and truthfully to decide your fate here" I said something I don't recall that was sarcastic or flaming and obviously got banned
I do remember they had some meetup in Florida of a few guys of this forum and another called
RightNation.us where they poured French wine into a storm drain. A bunch of fat/chubby guys in jean-shorts, camo and NFL-shirts, wearing crocks, socks and sandals and sneakers. Another friend from the gaming forum posted something like "You know you just gave them your money to buy that import wine they don't care if you pour it out, that money just went to France." and he got banned for that too. They smelled a raid from then on.
At the time at the gaming forum and others in protest we (anti-war or just not Bush's fans) put up French flags as avatar pics to enrage the Bush fans
2003 and 2004 were dank crazy times in the USA
