is shit tier versions of foreign food a thing in your country?

in finland we traditionally don't use any spices in our food other than salt & pepper and overall our food doesn't have any taste. but after the 80s we decided we are western europe so it's only fitting we try to eat things other than potatoes and lard.

however the general public still doesn't want to taste anything or pay more than the absolute minimum for food so what we have now is finnish-made finnitized versions of "foreign food" such as cream cheese cheddar (pic related) or HK "chrorizo" that is nothing but red coloured hot dogs.

what's amazing is that all these products are extremely popular because finns especially outside the turku-tampere-helsinki region see all these cooking shows on television and then go on to buy these absolute shit products because they're cheaper than imported stuff and are "safe" and "not too ethnic tasting" so they can go on to talk on facebook and at the office how they ate this FANCY FOREIGN FOOD that last weekend.
