It has less overall features but does things YBC doesn't (yu's will dig for treasures, there's bugs and such that will bother them, they interact with toys), also they've got more personality/reactions to stimuli. I don't think he updates YBC anymore, but it does have a much wider selection of interactions and yukkuri types.
OYP still gets a decent influx of posts, but translations have slowed down quite a bit.
