Is it just me or are Maji's male characters rather likeable?

Sometimes VN/LN/anime/manga male non-mc(and MCs) are annoying and shit.

But Majikoi's are rather likeable.

Cap is awesome like the wind, tadakatsu is tsundere, and mooro is 11/10 trap.
Best part is that they are great in their own ways without over shadowing or being shadowed by MC.

From memory it continues off Momoyo's bad end, mixes in some of the early events from the eroge and then goes full anime original. Only the first episode is "good" and only because it shows the Kawakami battle from Momoyo's route animated
