I truly believe a lot of Japanese architecture was influenced by the way they write. As in, square and compact. It might be a bit of a stretch, but it seems to at least appear true in some tourist areas.

their low crime effects city layout and stuff too. aka bathrooms in trainstation and lots of vending machines everywhere (because no blacks to rape everyone or vandalize the machines)

i went down this with my bike once. One of the austrailian guys i used to ride with fell and almost tumbled down the drop off point. Pulled his arm out just in time to catch himself but ended up twisting his wrist and had to fly back home early. I havn't seen him since.

Is this whole thing about cleanliness in Japan coming from America? I don't know, maybe American cities are dirty as fuck. I've been to a good amount of countries in Europe, almost all of them are reasonably clean. At least for the most part.

Japan have the cleanest streets I have ever seen, Cleaner than Auckland and Istanbul. I haven't been to Germany to tell but I heard from people who have been to Paris that it is dirty. From the places I have been Tokyo was the least clean but still pretty clean specially considering the huge amount of people and that there are many people from countries where litter the street is normal.

I'm going to Japan this December. I'll be spending a month there, mostly in Tokyo but I want to go see the countryside too. I'll be traveling alone, and considering my social retardation, I probably won't make any friends while I'm there either.
