Let's have a Touhou gameplay thread for both the shoot-em-ups and the fighting games.

I'm a total and complete noob at Soku, and at the moment I'm just learning the basics. To give yourselves an idea of how noob I am, I can't even nail an uppercut. Soku is bebby's first fighting game for me. I use a PC gamepad and recently learned basic fighting technique in Soku (first I learned to just hit the basic A punch, then I learned to hit the dial A combo, then I learned to spam basic ranged attacks when the enemy is away), I recently managed to win my first arcade mode on Lunatic, and since I don't even know any special move someone suggested me to move on to learning how to hit spellcards (at the end of a combo or on a guard crush).

So after I learn how to hit a spellcard and build a deck, what else should I learn? I still feel way too unskilled to start learning powers and combos.

I noticed that the cab driver was Reisen,
But I said "Yo man forget it, to the Scarlet Devil Mansion!"
I pulled up to a house about 7 or 8,
And said to the cabby "Yo rabbit, see ya later!"
So this is the story that you now all know,
About how I became the strongest in Gensokyo!

I have a mid-term coming up in my Japanese class on Thursday, I'm curious if anyone is in the mood to practice talking back and forth with basic sentences. Probably on steam or something.

I'm at a loss with finding a person to practice with.

Trying to install this old jap vn on my win 7 comp, running it as administrator and in jap locale. Keeps giving me this error even though I'm trying different places.

Any anons can help me with this error?

News:
-New ranking rewards are out with the brand new Prototype Keiun carrier recon plane.
-Fall Event has been announced to start early November, it has been settled to be medium scale.
-Zuikaku kai 2 to be released sometime in November.
-Saury fishing mini event is underway and available in World 1 and 3, rewarding a special furniture.
-You can increase their droprate with illumination equipment, like searchlights.
-The fish will disappear at the end of the mini event on October 30th.
-Isokaze drops temporarily at 1-5, 1-6 and 2-5.
-Isokaze received a cooking CG and several others received fishing CGs along with new lines.
-Several new UI updates such as refueling faster, swapping around ships in fleet formation and many more.
-Katori and Akigumo now buildable.
-KanColle will add Android support in Winter.
