Watching Mother, 3 episodes left. It's good, high production value., good pacing. Tsugumi a cute. Not sure if I like the drama part too much, I think I would've liked it more if the thing about leaving her real mother behind was resolved in the first few episodes and the plot focused on her growing up.

Also I noticed I tend to like new age dramas more than the ones that came out like 10+ years ago.

Turns out it's harder for me to immerse myself in something that is 240p and has cheap production value. Story wise they probably hold up, but atmosphere is very important to me.

The first vid is for au's shop. Some promotion where you can get some jelly (jello) for going to their shop.

The characters are based on Japanese mythological figures such as Kaguyama-hime, Momotaros, etc.

Just watched the first episode and was not disappointed. It was pretty fun and the main girl was cute.

Can you guys recommend something like Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou? I watched it early this year but it's still on my head, never found anything like it.

Doesn't need to be a mystery, I'm just looking for something that has this "comfy" feel. Even better if it's a series instead of a movie, but both are fine.
