Runescape I dont think it was translated and published here, at that time things didnt spread as fast as it spreads today through the internet, although I do have knowledge of some brs who understood some english that played it, they were not obnoxious as the brs who always push the local language into every online game they play though so you almost never heard of brs on it.
I never cared about mmos that much but I generally saw some advertising for RO here since it probably was the biggest money maker for them, since at its prime a lot of people played it and it was not f2p and for a shitty country a online game not being f2p usually means no popularity, something that didnt happened with RO.
