A romantic at heart, Summer joined the Waifu War in the hopes of winning the heart of a man after she's tried and failed to find one she likes for five years.

Reason for joining: Veronica would say that she was in it for a master, a husband, someone to love and cherish, but she'd be a dirty liar. Veronica joined the waifu war for one simple reason, the thrill of it all. To die in the Waifu War for Vernonica would be to die in bliss.

Janette's is a cruel lot. Created as a simple servant she's been consigned to the Waifu War due to her lackluster preformance. If she wins however, she will be free and have a husband of her own.

Reason for joining: Eve is an anarchist, a firestarter, a rebel without a cause. Her former life as a petty bandit / freelance saboteur was brought to an end when she was captured and put on trial. To escape death row she chose to be sent to the Waifu War, and now fights for her freedom.

Age: 34
Shannen desires nothing more than a good hunt, so for her the Waifu War is nothing more than the ultimate culmination of her desires, the ultimate hunt. The fact that she can get a husband out of all of this only sweetened the deal for Shannen.

Age: 27
Plagued by a massive inferiority complex and sick of people constantly assuming she's younger than she is, Maia joined the Waifu War in the hopes that winning would garner her some of the respect she deserves.
Name: Camilla
Species: Succubus
Age: 33
Camilla joined the waifu war in the hopes of winning a nice man to make into her husband/sexbuddy. She's a succubus, what'd you expect? Though she secretly hopes for a loving relationship with cuddling and handholding.
Team 5:
Name: Natasza
Species: Mindflayer
Age: 28 (Undead)
One of the few returning contestants to a Waifu War, Natasza is a grim reminder of what happens to those who lose, ressurrected as an undead servant. She's a sadist who enjoys watching others suffer and was indirectly responsible for one of the bloodiest rampages in Waifu War history.

Perhaps the least lucky Tanuki ever, Kaede was caught red-handed laundering money for a Mist Continent gang. As punishment for her crimes she was sentenced to the Waifu Wars, though the severity of her punishment compared to the nature of her crimes suggests bribery or other such foul play were involved in her ending up in the war.

Age: 22
This young paladin is the thirteenth in a long line of Paladins sent to attempt to win the Waifu War and bring glory to humanity. As you may remember, none of them have succeeded ever. Her brashness may prove an asset, but it might also get her killed like all who came before her.

Species: Liliraune
Age: 25
Reason for joining: Christina signed up for the Waifu War in the hopes of breaking Maria out of her shy and introverted shell by winning them a husband. Time will tell if her brash and boastful nature will prove the downfall of her and her sister.
