Hello /k/,
About 8 months ago, I started a few threads here. I was about to make a trip to Syria, to join the Kurdish militia YPG in the north, to go fight ISIS. I was asking for advice, as I had no military experience. Well, I returned 3 months ago. I've been in Syria for 3 months, plus a few days in Northern Iraq. I've been in a couple of firefights, one big battle, and have seen several car boming attempts and one successfull one. Also I've seen tons of bombs being dropped by coalition jets, and AC-130s in action at night. I experienced a lot, but decided to return after the "succesfull" car bombing. Fighting in a dirty militia war is exhausting, especially mentally. It's frustrating and way more dangerous than it actually would have to be. So, instead of a year, I've been in the Syrian civil war for 3 months.
Since my return, I'm facing some problems. I overthrew with my family because of my decision to go to war, I own nothing except some clothes the YPG bought for me before I returned. I'm planning to study next semester (I'm from Europe), but need to find a way to get along till then. Right now, I live at my girlfriend's. I got fired from a job my father got me, they don't want someone who "volunteered to kill".
In Syria, I heard about some scandinavian Volunteer who was blogging while he was there. He earned a few thousand dollars by "crowd funding". We all actually didn't get any money.
I lost my solar charger, laptop and e-book reader when ISIS burned my backpack. One of the stories I'm going to tell you.
Well, first of all.. I want to thank you guys for your advices. But, I was hoping there's some anons out there who would be willing to send me some money via paypal. I really need it right now.
What I can offer in return, are my stories and some exclusive pictures.
So, if you want to support a broke Veteran, or make at least possible to take my girlfriend to a fancy dinner, please send some via paypal to
