>>27730985I've heard of too many muggings gone south because the mugger wasn't happy with what his victim had. The whole, "Just give them what they want!" mentality is a toxic one, because you automatically assume that you'll escape harm. This couldn't be further from the truth.
You might think that your iPhone and $20 in your wallet is enough to spare your life, but I'm not taking the risk that it will satisfy him. If somebody has me at gunpoint, and the opportunity to draw and fire presents itself, I'm taking it regardless of who is committing the crime.
That being said, I'm not so heartless as to say that I think killing a child would be easy. I'd probably be an emotional wreck.
