avoid romanian. Best surplus 8mm BAR FUCKING NONE is Yugo 1999 production, it reads m76 sniper bullet in cyrillic. SGammo has it in stock. It's match load from the factory, trust me on this one. That's what I use exclusively in my m48 yugo.

I know other than the very front end the Colt New Agent is the most simliar, including the trench sights and everything. But the New Agent also has the gayass flashy "COLT NEW AGENT" engraving on the slide, when I want something flat and clean I can actually have the correct text engraved into for the gun.

I still think..
in terms of movies that really feature guns as a theme...
FASTER was one of the best.
They hired a consultant to pair the gun choice to the character.
Each gun symbolizes the person holding it.

A lot of gun movies people are running around with deagles and other stupid meme guns.
Even John Wick which was probably the best gun play movie in the last year (I haven't seen Sicario yet) had it's share of ridiculous "bad guy dancing", cars riddled with bullets but the driver is fine and then that sniper shot through a stainglass window at an impromptu location...

I figured out how NATO could have won the Cold War had it gone hot. Send the various spy agencies out into the Warsaw Pact nations. Have them remove all the can openers from the ammo stockpiles. Then Nato invades. They should have tanks in Moscow by the time any commie can get his ammo open and loaded into magazines.

I have a TT-33 and wouldnt take it purely because of its high recoil and shitty trigger.

Reliable? one of the most. but other guns are on par with reliability with less recoil and much lighter/higher quality.
