Why do you care? Instead of wasting your day on YouTube, and then wasting more of it to make a shit thread on /k/ you could go to the range and enjoy your own guns. Maybe if you see someone there with a gun you're interested you could ask them how they have liked it, what they think about its reliability, availability of parts, etc.

Are there any fellow Vz-58/Cz-858 owners out there? How are you enjoying it? Any aftermarket parts that you would recommend? I may get beaver barf furniture for it when I find it, but I can't seem to take off the butt stock. I have the sporter model like in the picture with the ATI butt stock.

But be patient, they import them in batches every now and again. Sign up for their emails if you want to know right away before they inevitably sell out quickly, even at the wild prices.

So are there no more imports of these? I really wanted a vz. 58, but I missed the $400 boat.

>>27736197 vz.58 =/= vz.2008
One is either a 100% Czech made surplus parts gun minus the few US required parts if it's older or new manufactured Czech receiver and German barrel with surplus parts if it's newer, and the other is surplus Czech parts built on a US made receiver with a US made barrel.
One currently costs $1100 and the other $500.

Hey k, Does anyone know the legality of travelling through the US with a lever action rifle? For example. If I was to land in Colorado, buy a Marlin 1895SBL and wanted to do a roadtrip through:>CO >MT >MN >OR >CA Would I get in trouble for travelling through state lines with my rifle? Do you need a license for a lever action rifle? Can I go hiking and shoulder the rifle without getting in trouble? Is it legal in national parks to bring in rifles? Help a nofunz out please.

The Glock is a good gun. For plastic it's damn good. I'll admit a lot of 1911 vs Glock torture tests are biased because I've never seen a thorough torture test between a Glock and a mil spec design like they had decades ago... manufacturers have fucked the 1911 by trying to tighten clearances so much that it can't blow dirt out its action. Older 1911s that rattled like a bolt in a tin can were one of the most reliable designs the world has ever seen. People have dug up 1911s that had been sitting in mud and dirt for decades, cleaned them up, and fired them no problem. I haven't heard of a Glock doing that. But the Glock has earned it's place.

>>27736453 The best part about it, at least with the FN Fiveseven, is how light they can make the gun combined with how light the ammunition is. A loaded FN Fiveseven with a spare 20 round magazine weighs less than an ounce more than a loaded Glock 19 and additional loaded FN Fiveseven magazines weigh almost two ounces less than additional Glock 19 magazines.

>>27736422 >something else that offers extremely light recoil and even more rounds per magazine How about a company tries the .25 ACP rimless magnum that some anon brought up a while back, pretty sure he said you could fit about 17 rounds in an M&P Shield's 7 round magazine (which isn't long enough to get your pinkey on) so if you went with a longer and slightly wider magazine you could get some pretty impressive magazine capacity.
