>In community college for technical degree >ask one older guy to have my first beer at the bar with me after turning 21 >dude has a master's degree, only in school just to stay busy and learn shit >definite type A personality, with what seems like a few screws loose >37, was in for 18 years, 11b, TS clearance, then went Ranger and SF. (showed me his forms one day) >5'9"-11", skinny 170ish lbs, exposed tatts, and said he was like 130 lbs when he went in >says how the reasons Rangers are so pissy is because they never get to sleep or eat >the best guys to make it through selection were either skinny or a bit fat "anyone can do it" >did several tours between Iraq, Africa, and Afghanistan, and always talks about former military shit b4 class with other vets
Anyways, guy is a total genuine bro-tier guy. I can tell this guy has seen a lot of shit and people killed, and clearly has a psychological wall built up. Kinda makes me glad I got my 11x option 40 contract job, and opted to get a career going instead. Guy's old enough to be my dad, but damn, I could just get drunk and listen to his stories every week.
Poor bastard here, I'm looking for input on the cheapest, reasonably-reliable concealed-carry pistols you guys would recommend for basic protection.
I live in the gun-loving state of MA so my options are narrow but I'd love feedback. Massachusetts loves guns so much we drafted extra laws and regulations for them because, fuck you.
Been looking at different designs and I like the concept things like the Welrod and PB pistol, as well as the DeLisle Carbine.
I like the design of the Welrod being basically a straight pull bolt action to ensure all of the gas can only escape through the supressor instead of also being able to vent out of the breach. But I also like the ability to have semi auto fire.
The pistol should be able to function as an actual pistol instead of just a silent execution weapon, so a silencing method that compromises the effectiveness of the gun should be avoided.
I'd also like a method that doesn't degrade like the welrod's supressor does, since it's made out of leather and rubber like some kind of BDSM gear, the DeLisle uses an all metal supressor that only needs to be cleaned.
