>>27636352Wound packing isn't a complicated process with quick-clot. Also, if you're dead-set on carrying a TQ, you need to also have a marker with you to write down exactly when a TQ was applied. If I was going to bring some form of IFA gear, a TQ is something that can lead to amputation - while preferable to death, quick-clot will be able to most likely treat the wound more efficiently and effectively - the only advantage the TQ would have, is if you had multiple wounds on the same limb. Lots of variables exist, but QC helps in more variables than a TQ does.
Also, awesome, I'll check them out on the holster.
>>27636369Can you elaborate at all on why a TQ would be a better choice than QC?
>>27636362Yeah, I hear ya. Kershaw has some amazing options in the price range of the Shuffle that are better suited for EDC - I had the Burst, and currently have the CQC-1K. If the Burst hadn't been stolen by my fiancee, I'd still be carrying that. I also see more and more people carrying those folder utility knives, and I see the reasoning behind it too. Just depends on your line of work.
