/k/, what is the greatest feat in military science and engineering, both for your homeland and the world?
I'm from the United States, and I think for us it's undoubtedly the SR71 Blackbird.

For the world, I say the atom bomb of course.
I say the world for the bomb, because even though it was largely the United States, it would not have been possible without scientists from around the world.
