Day 356

I am in the trenches with my fellow men for so long and now I am beginning to pray to god now before those barbaric russians get to me.

I had twenty friends with me but now I only have five and they are wounded and for me. Well I hope that the german empire army will notify my beloved fiance and my three little darling kids I have at my home that daddy will not be coming home this time.

I only have 55 rounds left for my rifle and only 23 rounds for my pistol mein gott have mercy on my soul and keep my loving family safe at home for I know this day will be the end of my day as a deutsche soldier.

I only wanted to protect my land and my family lord I only wanted to keep my family safe from all the violence of this cursed war my lord.

It is getting hard now to write due to my sobs but I must write this i have to for there is no other time now and the time is drawing very close to an end of my life.

My little darling kids, daddy loves you very much and I will be there forever with you even when you don't see daddy sitting next to you and smiling and watching you grow up, I will be there for you my little darling kids.

And as for you wife of mine, I love you and you have been in my mind and heart every day and every night, your love have helped me through troubles in this warfare and through tortures of this cursed lands I am now on. You have always been in my heart and I love you so much and I hope you will forever remembered me love, I did not ever wanted to leave you and the kids I only wanted to protect you from the cursed war and chaos that has yet to come to our town we first had our love and raised our family.

My life draws near and I can hear the shouts of the russian soldiers and their rifles nearby and my brave germans by my side are ready now.

A fight that is not for our Führer nor our land nor our country but for our families we all dearly loved.
