/k/ what do you think about this rifle ?
I think it can be viable to have (or second kind of cool) but its just one big missed opportunity that could have been good or give the companies a chance to figure it out ?

It's a rifle for people who claim the AR is outdated or inferior, yet pay a premium for the same functionality of an AR.

Same with the SCAR, or atleast the 5.56 one.

That's good because it does the same thing the AR does but maybe in its own flavor. Then again I still cant justify paying that much for the ACR.

still no barrel conversions and its past the point of anyone actually believing they will ever release them
they finally dropped the price to around $1200 but its to little to late, the hype train has already departed
no government or state is adopting them thus its officially kill

theres literally no point in owning one, just buy a scar its superior in every way but poorfags gonna poor and fagpul shills gonna fag because m-muh travis haley=jesus

its a neat concept but piss poor management and marketing killed it, only the positive side is they're pretty cheap now so i guess nows the time to buy one if you want it

Been awhile since I've seen anyone admit to watching Nutnfancy.

But seriously, the ACR is a failure.
Full recall because off unintentional full-auto.
Spits rounds out if you insert the magazine too fast.
Empty weight is heavier than the 7.62 SCAR "Heavy".
Front heavy
Quick change barrels was a fad.
90 degree selector with both levers being the same length scrapes against your trigger finger.

Even Chris Costa and Travis Haley, whose input were used to design the "Masada", said the SCAR is better. Haley even said the ACR 2.0 "for the military" was trash as well.

The biggest problem is that it was supposed to be a $1200 rifle, and it ended up costing $2000. If it had remained a $1200 rifle it would be pretty neat.
