So is multicam basically the ultimate camouflage design until we can create shit that changes color or literally bends light around our soldiers?

It seems like multiple countries have all designed their own multicam or multicam look-a-like pattern. Is it because it's actually good, or is it just the new meme pattern everyone thinks looks cool?

It's the latest hip camouflage, believe it or not acquisitions officers are as easily wooed by trends as anyone else.

Personally I think DPM was the best camouflage of the 20th century, in both temperate and desert forms.

When I joined I had deserts. It makes sense because we always ended up in the desert.

Now we use the NWU Type 3. Its great in grasslands but It doesnt have the benefits of Marpat.

My Multicam is for personal use. Its great for hunting and I like to wear the Frog top when I go to target shoot. As much as I would like to see it in full military use, I get confused with Army all the time by no-brains civilians who can't be bothered to read my nametapes.

If I could get a brand new kit complete with chest rig, plate carrier etc. and brands/fabrics etc of my choosing I would love a full Flektarn setup for my area.

To say it's a meme pattern is one thing. But you're retarded to say it barely fits in anywhere. As long as there is light vegetation it is going to blend in. And anywhere that foliage is too dark is going to have dark soil as well, which is going to coat and make really any pattern work.

You do realize camo is still a uniform?
The biggest reason to choose a specific pattern is to make sure your forces are distinguishable from enemy forces, concealment is a far second.

There's a reason we're supposed to have kept Des DPM for purely desert areas, but will be using MTP for everywhere else.
