They mostly work with the army. My father was swot with the 160th and 5th special during the 90's. He said they were just weather geeks with guns. "tactical weather analysis" taking a major downsize because lul no war.

So are there any good accounts of work that SOWT has done in the GWOT? It seems there's hardly ever any mention of them when reading about special operations missions.

They have doppler radar like the local news has had for the last 30 years.

Special Forces has a lot of support people, some do paperwork, some do weather, some count bullets, ect.

If you faggots are imagining elite operators parachuting in and battling their way up a mountain summit in order to fucking take barometric readings you are being delusional. These are just regular pouge-ass pouges taking weather data from Weatherunderground off a laptop and putting it into a powerpoint slide to show the commander.
