We all know that AK-47 is the most used firearm through history, but which is the most common sword? Which is the sword that was used to build empires? Was it the gladius?

I hope you provide some sources too to support your claims.

They didn't mass-produce swords. Nothing was mass-produced.

Swords were not even the main weapon of war back then, everyone used spears.

So, what pattern of spear was most used? That one leaf-shaped spear tip was really common across all cultures.

That doesn't really work with swords. The AK was spread to all of Russia satellites and allies in what may as well have been standardization. With swords, which are in no way lIke any armies main rifle, they varied a lot through the centuries and regions.

At best you could say something Chinese, Mongolian or Roman and that's based of on size or empire and span but that's still shit
