I'm thinking about getting a Beretta nano for conceal carry. Is it a solid pistol? Or should I choose a glock26 or glock43?

Don't. They're too large, top heavy, and the trigger is fucking awful. The grip does not feel good without the extension, and with the extension you should just get a different gun. Plenty of other firearms in the pricerange that do it soo much better.

I use to work at a funstore so I've finger fucked more pistols than I can remember.

The M&P Shield is a great single stack pistol, in a damn good price range. The RUGER SR9C is a good CC pistol, double stack, with a full 17rd mag and extension for range practice/removing kebab, but be warned some times the slide catch spring slips off. Any time it's happened I've contacted Ruger and they've fixed it, and it never happened again. I would never get a nano, and the pico is even more terrible. It's trigger is heavier than a makarov.

Oh, another thing. The thing about glocks is, it's got to feel good in your hands.

two types of people, those who like them, and those who hate them. Feel a G19/G23 and see if it's comfortable. If it is, than go for it. I personally prefer the gen 4's in the G26/G27, I find the stippling gives better grip.

Leaning towards m&p shield now since I don't own a s&w yet.

The G43 in all honesty was a disappointment to me. It's too large for what it is, a 6rd single stack the same size as the S&W shield, but the shield holds 1 more round and doesn't snap as hard, and is generally cheaper. I've shot both plenty, and I prefer the shield hands down.

I third it. Just took mine to the range today.

I looked long at all the single stack 9mm's that were out there. This was the best IMO and I don't regret it after getting it and carrying it for several months. All of the others either lacked an external safety, or it was a 1911 type (sig). I wanted a safety. I don't give a rats ass what anyone says, it's been incorporated into my draw. The shield is great for IWB carry or pocket carry. I sometimes switch up depending on the circumstances. It's also fun to shoot at the range, unlike most cc guns.

Sure thing! I hope it works for you. In the end it's all about your preference. If you don't like it, you don't carry it...etc etc.

I got some tritium HD sights by trijicon and also some talon grip tape grips. They ate literally skateboard grip tape, but fit nicely. Apex Tactical also makes triggers and Sears for them too. The stock trigger pull is hard, but crisp. All in all its a solid gun.

This, make sure what ever you pick, you're comfortable with. If you can, shoot them. A lot of ranges with have popular guns for rent. Holding it tells half of the story, shooting tells the other half.

Alright, sorry if this is slightly off subject, but what is a good pistol similar to this, like the Shield or LC9, that can still be held in decent comfort for someone with slightly bigger hands? Like will any of those models allow me to place three fingers on the grip?

My dick was all "don't muzzle sweep me bro! I'm your friend!" I just couldn't do it. I hip IWB carry just fine. Again, all about comfort. It's up to you anon.

I use a DeSantis leather IWB holster for both IWB and pocket carry. It works great.

Are you appendix carry?

I'm trying to get into appendix carry but it's too fucking uncomfortable with the 5.11 appendix carry holster.

I have a glock g19 and g43 (my wife carries that) and I like them both. I have personally seen a lot of glockenspiel stress tests with store versions and I stuck with the brand. Not to imply anything else is inferior, but, the glockenspiel is a fantastic sidearm for around 500 bucks.
