>>27683443No. Just NO. There are a lot of positions out there that require a SNCO to do the job. Yeah there are a million admin jobs, but there are also a lot of high speed jobs where a Joe or even mid level NCO is not going to be trusted to do the job.

You continue to be trained in your field as you grow into the higher ranks. Yeah you go to NCO schools but you also go to schools that make you better at your job.
At SSG you are expected to be an expert, at MSG you are expected to have mastered your field.
