Anyways, corrosive primers means that the primer contains different salts to preserve it. The ammo as such is usually much longer-lasting than non-corrosive primers. We say "corrosive" because the salt attracts water, which can corrode metal that the salt comes in contact with (and, by association, the water). They're very reliable rounds, usually, and are much cheaper.
To flush out corrosive salts, don't use windex, that's autistic and a waste of chemicals when the water in it is the only thing you need. Salts aren't "neutralized", they're dissolved into a solvent and flushed somewhere else. You can use very hot water, or mix warm water with Ballistol (1 in 10 parts) to make a milk-like solution. With this, the water flushes out the salts, and the Ballistol lubricates and thinly oils the affected areas, preventing rust for a good amount of time. You should clean right afterwards though.
Whatever solvent you use, flush that shit down with a squirt bottle or a turkey baster. I use the latter. Also get the chamber and wipe down the firing pin and bolt face since they come in contact with salts as well.
Anyways you own a Hakim which supposedly runs a ton of money, so how are you worried about ammo costs? Hahah. Something tells me you'll be fine cleaning the corrosive either way.
